Description: “Aiyaary,” the 2018 Hindi-language film, follows Major Jai Bakshi, portrayed by Sidharth Malhotra, during a surveillance mission in South Block, New Delhi. He overhears a conversation involving retired Lt. Gen. Gurinder Singh, played by Kumud Mishra, and Army Chief Pratap Malik, where Gurinder attempts to bribe Malik on behalf of a Czech firm. When Malik refuses, Gurinder threatens to expose the DSD, a secretive operations unit to which Jai belongs. Suspecting corruption, Jai continues surveillance for two months before going rogue with his girlfriend Sonia, a cyber expert, taking classified information with him.

Colonel Abhay Singh, Jai’s mentor, played by Manoj Bajpayee, learns of Jai’s actions and sets out to track him. Meanwhile, Brig. Srinivas, an officer, secretly monitors Abhay’s movements and reports them to Gurinder. After Malik reveals the involvement of a powerful arms dealer, Mukesh Kapoor, Abhay’s car is pursued, but he escapes. The DSD relocates to an undisclosed location, and Gurinder collaborates with a journalist named Kamya to leak sensitive information.

Abhay travels to London, where Jai, in disguise, is picked up by Sonia. There, Jai intimidates Gurinder into transferring his funds to Jai’s account. Abhay meets an intelligence middleman named Tariq, who helps locate Jai but inadvertently alerts him. Desperate, Abhay strikes a deal with Mukesh, offering to eliminate Jai and Sonia in exchange for the information Jai holds, which poses a threat to both parties. The film culminates with Jai preparing to sell the information to an MI-6 agent.
