In the modern era, Guard, played by Kim Woo-bin, is tasked with managing alien prisoners confined within human brains. Alongside his robotic partner Thunder, he captures escapees, bending time and space to execute his duties without interfering in human affairs. After apprehending an alien criminal in the 14th century, Guard and Thunder return to the 21st century with a human baby, accidentally creating a rift in the time-space continuum. A decade later, a group of extraterrestrial convicts arrives on Earth, and Guard imprisons them in human bodies.
The alien leader, referred to as “The Architect,” along with his followers, breaks free from their human prisons, prompting Guard and Thunder to attempt to recapture them. Their efforts inadvertently open a portal connecting the 14th and 21st centuries. Meanwhile, in the Goryeo Dynasty, a group of Taoist sorcerers, led by the masked Ja-jang, searches for the legendary divine sword. Mureuk, a bumbling martial artist portrayed by Ryu Jun-yeol, crosses paths with Lee Ahn, played by Kim Tae-ri, a mysterious woman carrying a pistol. As the two timelines collide, the characters find themselves entangled in an extraordinary battle against alien forces and mystical elements.
