He shares a close bond with a man he calls “NGO da,” a former corporate worker who left his job to serve people. NGO da educates the children of the brothel, including Kencho, encouraging him to study. However, Kencho prefers earning money over reading.
Kencho entrusts his earnings to NGO da, who helps him save from both the brothel’s drunkards and his own spendthrift habits. Meanwhile, NGO da’s live-in relationship with Trina, a corporate worker, is strained due to her disapproval of his social work. Their constant conflicts threaten their relationship.
