Description: Lucky, a forgetful junior botanist, often gets distracted from his work. His father arranges his marriage to the daughter of Panduranga Rao, a senior botanist. However, Rao cancels the alliance after discovering Lucky’s absent-mindedness and warns him to stay away. While on his way to donate blood to his boss, Lucky meets Nandana, a Kuchipudi dance teacher, and falls in love. He impresses her by accidentally donating blood to one of her students.
During their meetings, Lucky frequently forgets things, like wearing shoes or giving away his bike keys to a beggar, but convinces Nandana he’s a philanthropist. Unbeknownst to him, Nandana is Rao’s daughter, the same woman he was supposed to marry earlier. Meanwhile, Ajay, a police inspector and Rao’s friend’s son, also develops feelings for Nandana. On her birthday, Lucky tries to propose but ends up rushing Nandana’s pregnant sister-in-law to the hospital. After the delivery, Nandana proposes to Lucky, and they start a relationship.
Nandana tells Lucky her father has agreed to their union and wants to meet him. When Lucky encounters Rao, they treat each other as strangers after an incident involving a child. Later, Lucky realizes Nandana is Rao’s daughter and avoids him. To hide his identity, Lucky has a friend pretend to be Nandana’s lover and joins Rao as an apprentice.
Confusion arises during a naming ceremony when Rao’s nephew mistakes Lucky’s friend for Nandana’s suitor while others assume Lucky is the one. Later, when Nandana falls ill, Lucky visits her, deepening the confusion. Rao then asks Lucky to accompany Nandana and her relatives to Srisailam, but Lucky takes a wrong turn and ends up near Bangalore. He takes them to a nearby temple, claiming it’s a historically significant site.
