Genre: Adventure;Comedy;Science;Fiction
Description: In the year 2688, humanity thrives as a utopian society, inspired by the music and philosophy of the “Two Great Ones,” Bill S. Preston, Esq., and Ted Theodore Logan. Tasked by their leaders, Rufus travels back to San Dimas, California, in 1988 using a phone booth-shaped time machine. His mission is to ensure that the young Bill and Ted, two quirky high school students, pass their history class. If they fail, Ted’s father, Captain Logan, plans to send Ted to a military school in Alaska, which would end their band “Wyld Stallyns” and alter the course of history.

Rufus finds the duo struggling to complete a history report that requires them to explain how historical figures would view modern-day San Dimas. At a Circle K convenience store, Rufus offers his assistance. Suddenly, another time machine appears, and future versions of Bill and Ted step out, briefly discussing their situation before vanishing.

Rufus then shows the present-day Bill and Ted how the time machine works, taking them back to 1805, where they witness Napoleon Bonaparte leading his troops against Austria. As they return to the present, a cannonball explosion accidentally pulls Napoleon into their timeline. Rufus explains that time will continue normally for Bill and Ted, and they cannot miss their class presentation the next day. He leaves the time machine with them and departs.

While debating their next move, Bill and Ted discover Napoleon stuck in a tree, sparking the idea to gather historical figures to help with their report. They leave Napoleon with Ted’s younger brother, Deacon, and continue their journey. Along the way, they befriend Billy the Kid and Socrates, and in 15th-century England, they fall for Princesses Joanna and Elizabeth.
