Deep in space they are not alone.|Dec. 17, 2020|Canada|92 Min.|R
Genre: Action;Science;Fiction
Description: A skilled mechanic must stay awake to maintain an interstellar ark carrying the last remnants of humanity as they flee a dying Earth. Among the passengers is a shapeshifting alien creature whose sole purpose is to kill as many people as possible. The crew must act swiftly to stop this threat before it annihilates mankind.

Set in the year 2242, *Breach* depicts a deadly plague that has wiped out most of humanity, a scenario eerily reminiscent of real-world events, given the film was shot in late 2019. Earth has become uninhabitable, forcing survivors to board a ship bound for “New Earth,” a colony on a distant planet. The story primarily follows a pregnant woman, Hayley (Kassandra Clementi), and her boyfriend, Noah (Cody Kearsley), as they struggle to secure a spot on the last ship. Noah, a stowaway, pretends to be a crew member responsible for cleaning the ship’s facilities.

While *Breach* follows a familiar alien-space-travel formula, it adds some fresh touches to keep the narrative engaging. The movie is entertaining, especially for fans of the sci-fi and alien genres, offering a solid mix of tension and action. Although somewhat predictable, it’s a worthwhile watch, particularly during times of isolation. Fans of zombie and alien-themed films will likely enjoy this one. Overall, it’s a decent movie with a rating of 7/10, and I would recommend it to those who appreciate this type of story.
