Description: The 2023 Indian Telugu-language film *Bro* (stylized as *BRO*), which translates to “Brother,” is a supernatural fantasy comedy directed by Samuthirakani and written by Trivikram Srinivas. Produced by People Media Factory and Zee Studios, it is an adaptation of the 2021 Tamil film *Vinodhaya Sitham*. The story follows Markandeyulu (Mark), an IT professional in Hyderabad, Telangana, who prioritizes his own interests over those of his family, including his mother Easwari, sisters Veena and Gayathri, brother Arun (who works in the U.S.), and his girlfriend Ramya. While returning from a road trip from Vizag to Hyderabad, Mark is involved in a fatal accident. After his death, he awakens in a mysterious dark realm where he is approached by a man dressed in black, who introduces himself as “Time” or “Titan.” Time informs Mark that his time on Earth has ended.
Desperate, Mark pleads for a second chance, explaining that his family and company rely heavily on him. He requests to return to Earth to stabilize his family’s and company’s situations before his permanent departure. Time agrees but imposes strict conditions: Mark must complete his tasks within three months, keep their agreement a secret, and allow Time to accompany him at all times. With these terms, Mark miraculously survives the accident and returns home, now accompanied by the enigmatic figure of Time.
