Genre: Horror;Kids;Mystery;Violence(Slasher)
Description: ### Child’s Play 2 (1990): A Thrilling Sequel

**Plot Summary:**
Two years after Chucky’s apparent defeat, the Play Pals Corporation, the manufacturer of Good Guy dolls, decides to reconstruct the doll’s remains to restore its reputation after the scandal surrounding the murders. During the restoration process, a power surge electrocutes one of the workers. Mr. Sullivan, the company executive, instructs his assistant, Mattson, to dispose of Chucky and cover up the incident. Unbeknownst to them, the power surge has accidentally revived the doll.

Meanwhile, Andy Barclay, now eight years old, is living in foster care. His mother has been placed in a mental institution after being deemed unstable for supporting Andy’s claims about Chucky. Andy is sent to live with foster parents Phil and Joanne Simpson, who are also caring for Kyle, a sharp-witted teenage girl.

Chucky locates Andy by using Mattson’s car phone to contact Grace Poole, the manager of Andy’s foster center. After hijacking the car at gunpoint and suffocating Mattson, Chucky arrives at the Simpson house. He infiltrates the home by replacing another Good Guy doll, named “Tommy,” with himself. When Chucky destroys a family heirloom, Phil punishes both Andy and Kyle, believing they are responsible.

That night, Chucky ties Andy to his bed and reveals his true identity. However, Kyle interrupts before Chucky can complete his ritual to possess Andy. Kyle dismisses Andy’s story, and Phil and Joanne blame her for the chaos, locking Chucky in the basement. There, Chucky realizes he is gradually becoming human after experiencing a nosebleed.

The next day, Chucky secretly follows Andy to school. When Andy’s teacher, Miss Kettlewell, discovers his defaced homework, she assumes Andy is responsible and assigns him detention, unaware that Chucky is the true culprit.
