Description: Set in the 15th century, Vlad Drăculea governs as the Prince of Wallachia and Transylvania. In his youth, he was raised in the Ottoman Sultan’s palace, trained as a soldier in the elite Janissaries corps. Known as “Vlad the Impaler, Son of the Dragon,” he earned a fearsome reputation for his brutal methods but later turned away from his violent past.
Leading his kingdom in peace, Vlad and his men discover a helmet in a stream, signaling a potential Ottoman invasion. Their investigation leads them to Broken Tooth Mountain, where they encounter a cave filled with crushed bones. There, a powerful vampire attacks, killing Vlad’s men. Vlad escapes and learns from a monk that the creature is a centuries-old vampire named Caligula, cursed for his pact with a demon.
As tensions rise, Ottoman envoys demand 1,000 boys for their army. When Vlad refuses, they demand his son as well. Facing war, Vlad seeks the vampire’s aid, who offers him temporary powers in exchange for his blood. Vlad must resist the urge to drink human blood for three days to return to his humanity.
