**Storyline:**
The film revolves around the Mukherjee Commission hearings and presents a dramatized interpretation of the works of Anuj Dhar, Chandrachur Ghose, and the Mission Netaji organization. It explores three theories attempting to explain the death or disappearance of Subhas Chandra Bose.
The narrative begins with Subhash Chandra Bose at the Congress Conference, where he courageously opposes Gandhi’s nonviolent methods and resigns from the Indian National Congress (INC). He then travels globally to form alliances while confronting the British Army.
In 2003, journalist Chandrachur Dhar (played by Anirban Bhattacharya) is tasked with writing a detailed report on the mystery surrounding Bose’s death. He dedicates months to gathering evidence and researching Bose’s life. However, his obsession strains his marriage, leading to divorce. Frustrated, Dhar quits his job and forms a group dedicated to solving the mystery.
At the 2005 Mukherjee Commission hearing, Dhar boldly presents his findings. He claims that the 1945 plane crash never occurred and that Bose had staged his death with the help of his trusted Indian National Army (INA) soldier, Habib ur Rahman. Dhar supports his theory with evidence, such as the use of a smaller plane, the absence of recorded crashes that year, and the lack of reports about the deaths of Japanese soldiers allegedly involved in the crash.
When questioned about Bose’s whereabouts, Dhar reveals that Bose lived as an ascetic in Uttar Pradesh, concealing his identity and face behind a curtain. Despite being recognized by a few individuals, including close colleagues Leela Roy and Samar Guha, his identity was never disclosed to the public.
The film delves into the intrigue and speculation surrounding one of India’s most enigmatic historical figures, Subhas Chandra Bose.
