Description: In 2009, Jagdish “Jolly” Tyagi, a Delhi-based lawyer, lives with his brother-in-law Pratap and is in a relationship with Sandhya. Witnessing prominent criminal lawyer Tejinder Rajpal successfully defend Rahul Dewan, a young man from an elite family accused of drunk driving that resulted in the deaths of six people, Jolly becomes determined to seek justice. Eager for money and recognition, he files a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against Rahul Dewan. Initially reprimanded for procedural errors, Jolly is advised by Justice Sunderlal Tripathi to gather substantial evidence before the next hearing.
Jolly encounters Albert Pinto, who claims to be a witness to the accident, but soon discovers that Pinto is working for Rajpal to extort money from the Dewan family. Despite accepting a bribe, Jolly is criticized by Sandhya and Kaul Saab for compromising his principles. He returns the money to Rajpal and vows to win the case. With Pratap’s assistance, Jolly uncovers video footage of the accident, presenting it in court. Rajpal argues that the footage is fake and that the Dewan family’s driver was responsible. However, Jolly successfully cross-examines the driver, who confesses to providing a false statement.
Threatened by Rajpal’s associates, Jolly is provided police protection. Despite attempts by Sub-Inspector Satbir Rathi to sabotage his efforts, Jolly travels to Gorakhpur to locate Sadakant Mishra, a survivor of the accident. Overcoming numerous challenges, Jolly brings Mishra to court, strengthening his case for justice.
