**Storyline:**
Nanchenkotta, a fictional area along the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, is dominated by a party called DYP, led by Amarnath (Shivajith Padmanabhan). The party uses fear and violence to control the local population, forcing many to flee the region. The once-thriving area is now overrun by Amarnath’s henchmen. DYP also runs illegal businesses, including gun manufacturing. The party’s key members include Amarnath’s brother Appu (Vini Vishwa Lal) and their cousin Dr. Sangeetha (Samyuktha Menon). Their power is challenged by a rival party led by Adv. Lakshmanan, who struggles to gain influence due to Amarnath’s dominance.
The film opens with Adv. Lakshmanan addressing the public, criticizing DYP and urging locals to support him. Shortly after his speech, Lakshmanan is murdered by Amarnath’s main enforcer, Ummar (Harish Uthaman). The local police, led by SI Vysakhan, are powerless to act against DYP as the party controls them.
Tragedy strikes when Vysakhan, heartbroken after his daughter criticizes his inaction in a murder case, takes his own life. Meanwhile, the rival party’s new leader begins making decisions without considering public opinion. During a meeting to select a candidate for the upcoming election, internal disagreements arise. Senior party member Sooraj (Saiju Kurup) and others leave the party, choosing to work independently for the welfare of the people.
