Description: Sri, an engineering graduate from the small town of Trichy, travels to Chennai for an IT job interview in the field of Business Process Outsourcing. After successfully passing the interview with HR officer Regina Cassandra, he celebrates at a bar with his friends. Meanwhile, Sundeep Kishan, who harbors unrequited feelings for Regina, also happens to be at the bar.
In a past incident, goons had threatened to throw acid at Regina if she ever fell in love with Sundeep, leading to a confrontation where Sundeep attacked one of them. In the present, these goons recognize Sundeep and hire gang members to assault him. However, the gang mistakes Sri for their target and beats him, leaving him unconscious and stealing his belongings, including his phone and bag, which is accidentally left in a taxi.
Charle, a taxi driver renting his vehicle from a gangster named PKP, discovers Sri’s bag containing his academic certificates and delivers it to the police station. The next morning, Sri wakes up on the street and calls a friend to help him return home. He then heads to his new workplace to explain the loss of his certificates.
Coincidentally, Sundeep boards the same bus, intending to attend a job interview at Regina’s company. On the bus, he confronts the same goon who previously threatened Regina and retaliates by attacking him with acid before fleeing with his friends. As a result, Sri is arrested by the police for unknowingly passing the acid bottle to Sundeep. Exhausted by the city’s hostility, Sri argues with a police inspector, who physically assaults him until a constable intervenes. The constable then speaks with Sri at a tea stall, where Sri identifies the man who instructed him to pass the acid bottle, leading to the man’s arrest.
Elsewhere, gang members plan to kidnap a schoolboy named Karthi for ransom, sending a man named Winnings to deceive Karthi’s teachers.
