**Storyline:**
Ash Ketchum wakes up late one morning after accidentally breaking his alarm clock in his sleep. He rushes to Professor Oak’s lab but discovers that the three starter Pokémon—Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander—have already been claimed by other Trainers who arrived on time. However, Professor Oak offers Ash a unique Pokémon: Pikachu, an Electric-type with a feisty and rebellious personality. Despite Pikachu’s refusal to stay inside a Poké Ball, Ash eagerly accepts it as his companion for his journey.
Shortly after leaving Pallet Town, Ash encounters a Pidgey. When Pikachu refuses to battle, Ash throws a rock, accidentally hitting a Spearow instead. The Spearow mistakes Pikachu as the attacker and summons a flock of Spearow to chase them. Exhausted and injured, Ash urges Pikachu to return to its Poké Ball, but Pikachu refuses and instead defends Ash by unleashing a powerful Thunderbolt to scare the Spearow away. As the storm clears, Ash spots the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh flying above, leaving behind a Rainbow Wing feather. Inspired, Ash and Pikachu decide to embark on a quest to find Ho-Oh.
Along the way, Ash hears rumors of the Legendary Pokémon Entei nearby. He and other Trainers rush into the forest to find it. During the search, Ash encounters Verity, a skilled Trainer, and Sorrel, an aspiring Pokémon Professor. After a brief confrontation with Entei, Ash and Verity clash but soon find themselves teaming up to help a Charmander abandoned by its cruel Trainer, Cross, who deemed it too weak.
The group seeks shelter in a cave, where Sorrel reveals that Ho-Oh grants the Rainbow Wing only to the “rainbow hero” destined to face it. The mysterious shadow Pokémon Marshadow watches their journey closely. The next day, Charmander decides to join Ash and his friends. Guided by the Rainbow Wing, the group heads toward the Raizen Mountain Range to meet Ho-Oh. As they progress, Charmander evolves into Charmeleon, and Verity catches a glimpse of Suicune. Cross reappears, challenging Ash’s Charmeleon with his powerful Incineroar.
Their journey continues as they pursue their destiny and the Legendary Pokémon that await them.
