**Storyline:**
Shaitan follows Amy, a mentally troubled young woman deeply impacted by her mother’s attempted suicide and subsequent institutionalization. After moving from Los Angeles to Mumbai, Amy meets KC at a party her parents force her to attend. KC introduces her to his group of friends: Dash, Zubin, and Tanya. The gang lives a reckless and aimless life, indulging in drugs, alcohol, and driving around in a Hummer.
One night, during a car race, they accidentally hit a scooter, killing its two riders. Panicked, they flee the scene but are soon tracked down by a corrupt cop, Inspector Malwankar, who demands a hefty bribe to drop the case. Desperate for money, the group decides to stage Amy’s kidnapping to extort ransom from her wealthy father. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn when Amy’s father immediately seeks help from the Police Commissioner.
An honest but suspended officer, Arvind Mathur, is unofficially assigned to handle the case. Meanwhile, the group hides in a shady hotel where they accidentally kill a man who attempts to assault Tanya. As tensions rise, Tanya becomes increasingly disturbed by their actions and convinces Zubin to leave. The situation spirals further out of control when Amy discovers cocaine in Dash’s bag, adding to the chaos.
