Description: In 1915 Los Angeles, stuntman Roy Walker is hospitalized after a severe accident during his first film, leaving him bedridden and possibly paralyzed. He meets Alexandria, a young Romanian girl recovering from a broken arm. Roy begins to tell her a story about Alexander the Great, promising to share an epic tale if she returns the next day.
The following morning, Roy tells a fantastical story about five heroes seeking revenge against an evil ruler named Governor Odious. Alexandria’s imagination brings the characters to life, with her friends and hospital staff appearing as figures in Roy’s tale.
As the story unfolds, Roy develops a bond with Alexandria but manipulates her into stealing morphine from the hospital pharmacy, intending to use it to end his life. However, Alexandria misunderstands his instructions and throws most of the pills away.
The storytelling becomes a collaborative effort, with Alexandria adding her own contributions. She even becomes a character in Roy’s tale, playing the daughter of the masked bandit he portrays. Their shared narrative deepens their connection, blending reality with fantasy in a poignant and imaginative journey.
