**Plot Summary:**
Michael Bryce, played by Ryan Reynolds, is a top-tier private bodyguard based in the UK, living a luxurious life. However, his career takes a downturn when his client, Takashi Kurosawa, is assassinated under his protection. Two years later, Bryce is disgraced and barely makes a living by guarding troubled corporate executives in London.
Meanwhile, Vladislav Dukhovich, a ruthless dictator from Belarus, faces trial at the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. The prosecution struggles to gather solid evidence against him. Their last hope lies with Darius Kincaid, portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson, a notorious hitman who agrees to testify against Dukhovich in exchange for his wife Sonia’s freedom from prison.
An armed convoy led by Interpol Agent Roussel escorts Kincaid, but they are ambushed by Dukhovich’s men with the help of a traitorous Interpol Assistant Director, Jean Foucher. Most of the security team is killed, but Kincaid survives and eliminates the attackers. Agent Roussel, realizing the mission is compromised, enlists Bryce to protect Kincaid and ensure he reaches The Hague safely.
The duo embarks on a perilous journey to Amsterdam, where Sonia is held. Along the way, Kincaid reveals that he was responsible for killing Bryce’s former client, Kurosawa. As tensions rise, they face another attack, and Bryce is captured by Dukhovich’s men. Kincaid rescues him, and the two set aside their differences to fight their way to The Hague.
In the end, Kincaid testifies against Dukhovich, providing crucial evidence of the dictator’s crimes, including a mass execution documented on a secret FTP site. The trial proceeds, and justice is served.
