Description: The Last Airbender: A Century of Conflict and Discovery
A century ago, the Fire Nation launched a war to dominate the other three nations: Air, Water, and Earth. In the Southern Water Tribe, siblings Sokka and Katara stumble upon a mysterious iceberg. Upon breaking it open, they discover a 12-year-old boy named Aang and his flying bison, Appa.
Zuko, the exiled prince of the Fire Nation, notices the light from Aang’s release and demands the villagers surrender “The Avatar,” the only one capable of mastering all four elements. Aang gives himself up to protect the village but escapes with Katara and Sokka’s help. Together, they journey to the Southern Air Temple, where Aang learns he was trapped in the iceberg for a century and that the Fire Nation has wiped out his people.
Overwhelmed, Aang enters the Avatar State and encounters a Dragon Spirit in the Spirit World. Katara’s intervention brings him back. The trio later arrives at an Earth Kingdom village under Fire Nation control. After being imprisoned, they spark a rebellion and defeat the occupying forces.
Aang reveals he only knows airbending and needs to master the remaining elements. They travel to the Northern Water Tribe for Aang to train under water-bending masters. Along the way, Aang is betrayed and captured by Fire Nation archers led by Commander Zhao but is rescued by a mysterious figure known as “The Blue Spirit.”
