Description: The Sensuous Nurse (1975) is set against the backdrop of an aging widower, Leonida Bottacin, who owns a successful winery and faces health issues following a heart attack during an affair. His greedy relatives, hoping to inherit his wealth, conspire to speed up his demise by hiring Anna, a seductive nurse and ex-girlfriend of Leonida’s son-in-law, Benito. Their plan is to excite Leonida to the point of a fatal heart attack. However, Anna’s genuine care leads her to fall in love with Leonida, who recovers and marries her, thwarting his relatives’ schemes. Despite a celibate marriage plan to protect his health, Leonida insists on consummating their union on their honeymoon, resulting in his death. Anna inherits his estate and honors him with a grand funeral.

The film’s allure often centers on its cast, including Ursula Andress and Luciana Paluzzi, but it also stands out for its blend of drama and dark humor. For some, the appeal lies in its Italian exploitation cinema roots and the involvement of iconic figures like Jack Palance, adding a unique charm to the narrative.

Leonida Bottacin, a prominent traditional vintner, remains a wealthy and influential figure in Italy, setting the stage for a story of betrayal, love, and unexpected consequences.
