Description: Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (2010) follows the adventures of Tinker Bell and her fairy friends during a summer camp on the mainland. Curiosity leads Tink to explore a nearby human house, accompanied by Vidia. As they investigate, Dr. Griffiths and his daughter Lizzy arrive at their summer home. Lizzy leaves out a handmade fairy house, which captivates Tink despite Vidia’s warnings. Frustrated, Vidia jams the door shut, trapping Tink inside. When Lizzy returns, she discovers Tink and takes her home, keeping her a secret after noticing her father’s indifference and his collection of pinned butterflies.

In her room, Lizzy shares her fascination with fairies with Tink, who eagerly teaches her about fairy life. Lizzy documents everything in a journal gifted by her father. As the rain subsides, they bid farewell, with Tink preparing to leave and Lizzy eager to share her findings with her father. However, Dr. Griffiths is too preoccupied with fixing leaks to pay attention. Tink spends the night repairing the leaks to help Lizzy bond with her father. Unaware, she releases a butterfly Dr. Griffiths had planned to present to a museum committee.

Meanwhile, Vidia organizes a rescue mission with Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, Silvermist, Clank, and Bobble. Unable to fly in the rain, they construct a boat to reach the house. Their journey hits a snag when the boat crashes near a waterfall, forcing them to continue on foot. Along the way, Vidia admits her role in Tink’s capture, but her friends reassure her that her presence was invaluable. The group persists in their quest to save Tink and bring her back to fairy camp.
