Description: **Trial by Fire (2018) Full Movie Storyline in Hindi and English**
In 1991, Cameron Todd Willingham wakes up to find his house on fire. Despite his efforts, he fails to save his three daughters. During the trial, prosecutor Rick Perry claims the fire was intentionally set using gasoline arranged in a pentagram shape, with the refrigerator moved to block the door. Witnesses testify against Willingham, portraying him as a violent person. His former cellmate, Johnny Webb, also testifies, stating that Willingham confessed to deliberately starting the fire. Despite his and his partner Stacy’s emotional pleas of innocence, Willingham is sentenced to death.
While on death row, Willingham faces abuse from guards and fellow inmates, leading to his placement in solitary confinement. Struggling with his circumstances, he continues to protest his innocence while experiencing flashbacks of his life with Stacy. Their relationship was complicated—she cheated on him, and he acted violently toward her—but they still cared for each other. However, Stacy eventually stops responding to his letters, influenced by her mother, who believes Willingham is guilty.
Willingham seeks help from a new lawyer, Reaves, to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, he adapts to prison life by submitting to the harsh guard Daniels and befriending fellow inmate Ponchai James. With James’s guidance, Willingham improves his vocabulary and writing skills. Tragically, James is eventually executed.
Willingham’s letters eventually reach playwright Elizabeth Gilbert, who becomes sympathetic to his case despite her family’s belief in his guilt. Gilbert visits him in prison, moved by his calm demeanor. They bond over their shared struggles as parents and their love for their children. As Willingham immerses himself in art and poetry, even Daniels begins to question his guilt after witnessing Willingham’s hallucinations about his daughters and reading his letters to Gilbert.
