Description: Under Wraps 2021 is a captivating movie that tells the story of Marshall, a young man obsessed with monster films. Despite his friends Amy and Gilbert not sharing the same level of enthusiasm, the trio remains close. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they discover an Egyptian mummy in the basement of a supposedly deceased man’s house. Thanks to an ancient amulet and the right timing of moonlight, the mummy comes to life. Initially frightened, the kids soon realize that the mummy, whom Marshall names Harold, is harmless but clumsy and confused.
As they bond with Harold, the group decides to protect him and find a way to help him. They visit Bruce, a local shop owner with extensive knowledge of supernatural lore, who reveals a critical deadline: Harold must be returned to his sarcophagus by midnight on Halloween, or he will cease to exist. However, the sarcophagus is in the possession of Mr. Kubat, the man who faked his death to evade taxes and is involved in illegal dealings with ancient artifacts. When Kubat discovers Harold’s escape, he sends his henchmen to retrieve the mummy before his planned sale to a buyer.
The children must now shield Harold from both the townspeople and Kubat’s henchmen. As Halloween approaches, they also uncover Harold’s past love story, learning that he yearns to reunite with his mummified beloved. During a Halloween party, Harold blends in as a costumed guest, but when parts of his bandages are accidentally revealed, it becomes clear he is not what he seems. The race against time intensifies as the kids strive to save Harold and ensure his survival.
